In 2015, C. M. Brown and D. M. Henderson published the name Regaliceratops. The name means “royal horned face.”
It lived in the Late Cretaceous (Maastrichtian), roughly 72.2 to 66 million years ago. Finds come from Canada, including the St. Mary River Formation. It was a herbivore and walked on four legs.
Published estimates put Regaliceratops at a length near 5 m, hips about 1.6 m high, and a body mass around 2 tonnes.
