In 1925, W. A. Parks published the name Arrhinoceratops. The name means “no nose-horn face.”
Fossils referred to Arrhinoceratops date to the Late Cretaceous (Campanian · Maastrichtian), roughly 83.6 to 66 million years ago. Finds come from Canada, including the Horseshoe Canyon Formation. It was a herbivore and walked on four legs.
Published estimates put Arrhinoceratops at a length near 6 m and a body mass around 1.3 tonnes.
