The story in short

In 2006, J. Mo and colleagues published the name Fusuisaurus. The name means “fusui lizard.”

It lived in the Early Cretaceous (Aptian), roughly 121.4 to 113.2 million years ago. Finds come from China, including the Xinlong Formation. It was a herbivore and walked on four legs.

Published estimates put Fusuisaurus at a length near 22 m, hips about 4.2 m high, and a body mass around 35 tonnes.

On the family tree it sits in Titanosauriformes, among the sauropod dinosaurs.
