The story in short
The genus Eomamenchisaurus dates to 2008, the year J. Lü and colleagues described it.
It lived in the Middle Jurassic (Aalenian · Bajocian · Bathonian), roughly 174.7 to 165.3 million years ago. Finds come from China, including the Zhanghe Formation. It was a herbivore and walked on four legs.
The fossils of Eomamenchisaurus are too incomplete for a responsible length, hip height, or weight, so those fields are left blank on purpose.
On the family tree it sits in Mamenchisauridae, among the sauropod dinosaurs.
