In 1998, J. I. Kirkland published the name Eolambia.
Fossils referred to Eolambia date to the Late Cretaceous (Cenomanian), roughly 100.5 to 93.9 million years ago. Finds come from the United States, including the Cedar Mountain Formation. It was a herbivore and could move on two or four legs.
Published estimates put Eolambia at a length near 5.2–6.1 m, hips about 2 m high, and a body mass around 1 tonnes.
