In 2010, W. H. Wu and colleagues published the name Bolong.
It lived in the Early Cretaceous (Barremian), roughly 125.8 to 121.4 million years ago. Finds come from China, including the Yixian Formation. It was a herbivore and could move on two or four legs.
Published estimates put Bolong at a length near 4 m, hips about 1.1 m high, and a body mass around 200 kg.
On the family tree it sits in Hadrosauroidea, among the ornithopod dinosaurs.
