The genus Diabloceratops dates to 2010, the year J. I. Kirkland and D. D. DeBlieux described it. The name means “devil-horned face.”
Fossils referred to Diabloceratops date to the Late Cretaceous (Campanian), roughly 83.6 to 72.2 million years ago. Finds come from the United States, including the Wahweap Formation. It was a herbivore and walked on four legs.
