The story in short
Chienkosaurus was formally named in 1942 by C. C. Young.
Fossils referred to Chienkosaurus date to the Late Jurassic, within an age that is only broadly constrained. Finds come from China. It was a carnivore and walked on two legs.
The fossils of Chienkosaurus are too incomplete for a responsible length, hip height, or weight, so those fields are left blank on purpose.
On the family tree it sits in Tetanurae, among the theropod dinosaurs.
