In 2025, F. L. Agnolín and colleagues published the name Chadititan. The name means “titan of the salt.”

It lived in the Late Cretaceous (Campanian), roughly 83.6 to 72.2 million years ago. Finds come from Argentina, including the Anacleto Formation. It was a herbivore and walked on four legs.

Published estimates put Chadititan at a length near 7 m and hips about 1.8 m high.

On the family tree it sits in Rinconsauria, among the sauropod dinosaurs.
