The genus Asiaceratops dates to 1989, the year L. A. Nessov and colleagues described it. The name means “asian horned face.”
It lived in the Late Cretaceous (Cenomanian), roughly 100.5 to 93.9 million years ago. Finds come from Uzbekistan, including the Khodzhakul Formation. It was a herbivore and walked on two legs.
Published estimates put Asiaceratops at a length near 0.7 m.
