The story in short
Nevadadromeus was formally named in 2022 by J. W. Bonde and colleagues. The name means “nevada runner.”
Fossils referred to Nevadadromeus date to the Late Cretaceous (Cenomanian), roughly 100.5 to 93.9 million years ago. Finds come from the United States, including the Willow Tank Formation. It was a herbivore and walked on two legs.
The fossils of Nevadadromeus are too incomplete for a responsible length, hip height, or weight, so those fields are left blank on purpose.
On the family tree it sits in Thescelosauridae, among the bird-hipped dinosaurs.
