The genus Dromaeosauroides dates to 2003, the year P. Christiansen and N. Bonde described it. The name means “resembling Dromaeosaurus.”
Fossils referred to Dromaeosauroides date to the Early Cretaceous (Berriasian), roughly 143.1 to 137.1 million years ago. Finds come from DK, including the Jydegaard Formation. It was a carnivore and walked on two legs.
