In 2010, A. Ősi and colleagues published the name Ajkaceratops. The name means “horned face.”
Fossils referred to Ajkaceratops date to the Late Cretaceous (Santonian), roughly 85.7 to 83.6 million years ago. Finds come from Hungary, including the Csehbánya Formation. It was a herbivore and walked on two legs.
Published estimates put Ajkaceratops at a length near 1 m, hips about 0.3 m high, and a body mass around 15 kg.
